Hello everyone

It's me again, I might have got a bit distracted from coming up with anything to post. But I finally have something for you.

I have always liked looking at sayings or quotes, they often come from people who had everything figured out or people who are just smarter than I am. Here are a few of my favourites. x

Salisbury!

Last Saturday we went to Salisbury! Doesn't sound too exciting, but I assure you it was! It is well worth visiting the antiques centre. I know that sounds super boring, but even I enjoyed it! I didn't buy much as lack of money seems to be my thing. We took some photos so that you could enjoy the experience with us.

Sorry there are so few. I am honestly such a bad photographer that the other photos weren't good at all. I hope to get better so that I can upload many more photos.

Keeping up to date

Hello once again

I don't think I have done very well with keeping my promise of some regular updates, and daily shoe photos (which look like they might transform into pictures that I just like). I think I will try kick start this by beginning on Monday, I am even going to name it MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY, I think it needs a title. I am also starting a new working routine, and generally going to be less lazy, as you know I have had my AS level results and they weren't as grand as I would have liked, so I think I need to get motivated and work more. Have you been getting the same feeling?
Maybe I will make a post about how I am going to change what I do, for example my new week planner using post-its on my wall.

It was a bleak day when these photos were taken, but I really love how the building all look. They look like you could go inside some and see the people that lived in them when they were first built, like you could go in and have supper with the inhabitants.

Delays and broken keyboard, with animal themed cuties

Hello everyone!

As you may notice from the title I know I have been late with updating this and keeping to my schedule but I can never stick to schedules. The worrying thing is I am going to see if I have stuck to me schedule enough during college to get myself some good marks seeing as we are getting our first test results from January. I am so nervous.
On top of that I spilled pudding on my keyboard and now my spacebar needs smashing when I want to use it, and the D key has fallen off. Fun
Anyway I am going to be showing you some of the items I have found on the internet that are all animal themed

Unbelievably cute, these are animal collars without the dead animals, by a company called Hibernate-with-me.

This is a cat-in-a-can, I think this is going to be something I am going to have to get because I live away from home and I miss my cats, it would be nice to have a cat I can blow up and cuddle when I need it most (like tomorrow)

Now this is a strange thing, a tissue box thats like an octopus, it would be sweet to have on the side of the counter, but how do you get the tissues in there?

I see these as the cutest thing in my whole list, tiny fox earrings, simple and sweet they look like something straight out of a children's story book.

Hello my pretties *evil cackle*

Hello my lovelies

As you can probably tell from the title I am in a movie mood, and a classical movie mood at that. I am currently in love with the wizard of oz. I mean how can you not be in love with a movie that has an evil witch, munchkins (who do slightly creep me out), a lion and a tin man, and on top of it all is the singing, I am a sucker for a musical.
Okay now to get to the point. I have found some adorable merchandise from etsy especially for you!

This book mark is so simple, but never fails to give me delight when I see it.

This picture is so artistic and I love it because they haven't gone all out to make it look like the movie. The artist has painted what was in their head while they read the book, and for that I love this.

home for a week

Hello Everyone!

I don't know if you knew this, but last week was half term. Which means both Annie and I returned to Germany where we live at the moment.
Now we said somewhere, I think, that our new aim is to upload at least 2 photos everyday. I know its late, but here are our first 2, and I can give some information about this seeing as it is in my home town.

This in german is the Pfannekuchen haus, but in english its the pancake house, a lovely little place where the main food is pancakes (didn't see that coming did you?)

This place is in the center of Hameln in an old house where the floors are wonky, and the ceilings are low.

If ever you are in town, I recommend it!

Monday Things we like (late as always)

Every Monday from now on Annie and I are going to aim to post about something arty or inspiring that we really like at the moment, and today I have chosen Amigurumi, which is the art of crocheting or knitting a small figure or item. I personally think it is adorable and if looking at these doesn't make you want to take up crochet
nothing will.

Happy late valentines day everyone!

If you like me were alone on that day, don't be sad, I feel this is a day when you can feel happy for the people you love like your family, and this week I have been home from college with my family. I hope you can have a bright outlook on the situation. But for the lucky ones who have someone they can refer to as their significant other, then I am completely jealous.

Okay, hi again everyone!
Since the weekly planned stuff hasn't started yet, I figured I would show you something that will jump right up there on your top 10 most wanted stuff.
Its a mini dohnut maker, and it has an even better name- The Dough-nu-matic (isn't that so sweet?)

This machine could be the undoing of the cake pops, which yes I have jumped on the bandwagon for. Its a shame this wonderful machine costs around $149.99, so I 'doh nut' think I will be getting one soon (see what I did there?)

All puns aside, I think this is a great idea for a party or event, but its not really in my price range, so I am going to stick to cake pops, and leave the mini dohnuts to the carts at fun fairs and festivals.

Musings of sorts

Hello Everyone!

We have some good news. We have come up with some more ideas for this blog! Everything is still a work in progress, but we are getting there.
We even have a notebook for this now

This quick update is just to inform you of new regular posts that might be coming up:

Small shop posts- every Sunday- we mention the tiny shops that are not noticed and appreciated as much as we think they should be. This includes internet shops.

Arty stuff we are into- possibly every Monday- this will cover small clips of things we have been enjoying recently. This is only a thought for now, and might not happen.

More invisible man photos- everyday- this is what started this blog, and we think it deserves to be an everyday occurrence, There should be 2 photos uploaded everyday.

Favourite sayings- Every Wednesday- These will be a phrase that we have found to be inspirational or just something we like to hear,

Word of the day- everyday- we are a bit more doubtful about this, because we do not want to end up being like a dictionary, but it will simply be a single word that we think matches the day, for examply today the word would be: Home, because today we have both returned back home to germany to see our families. This is just another thought, and might not happen because both of us are lazy.

Well that is what we have so far, I hope you will check up on us to see if we manage to get this started. Maybe we will have this running in a couple of weeks, we will see.

February photo challenge

I don't know if you have heard of this yet, but I think I might give it a try even though I am late to the party. Its the photo challenge for this month, last month I decided not to try it because I didnt really understand but now I have got my tiny brain around this concept I am going to introduce it to you.
This photo challenge is about taking a photo to do with each of the subjects in the list.

 I recommend using instagram if you have an iphone or Ipod touch, or even an Ipad. It is just so simple to use.
Well I am going now, but you should give your creativity a break and just have fun with taking photos of any random thing, this challenge is perfect for that.

Lets start now!

Hi again everyone!

Today we went to a charity shop (british heart foundation) and bought  a pair of smart black shoes, that are huge, for our invisble man (Annie seems to believe he is real). We then walked around the town putting the shoes in different places and snapping away at them.

We did get quite a few onlookers at points, and when we walked away from the shoes to get a picture people would walk up to them to see why they are there, a group of american tourists seemed most entertained by this crazy idea, and also took pictures of our shoes.

Anyway here are our first ever pictures of our invisible man.

Starting fresh

Hello everyone!

This first post is just going to be a summing up of who we are, and what we plan to do.

As you might be able to tell, this is our first time blogging or using the internet for this type of thing, Yes, we are completely clueless, but that won't stop us.

We plan to use this blog to post pictures of our friend the invisible man, and I know that sounds corny but you wait till we get fully started, just think of the possibilities.
